1.    Flat floor threshold profile is usually used in the fracture section to connect the wooden floor between two rooms. It’s common that there is fixed groove under the floor threshold profile. The surface of the floor threshold profile is flat and a little curved. Generally the wooden floor is covered from one space to another. The flat floor threshold profile is used in the connection of two space which is under the entrance of door. So that’s the reason why we use flat floor threshold profile. Its shape is like the alphabet “T” whose surface is flat.

2.    Inclined floor threshold profile is usually used in the connection between floor tile and wooden floor. Because the surface of floor tile is higher than the wooden floor, the floor threshold profile with fixed groove and its two sides being not on the same level, is suitable for connecting two wooden floors in different height. In home decoration, the height of tile and wooden floor is different. The wooden floor can not be curved, so that’s why we use the inclined floor threshold profile to make transition between floor tile and wooden floor. Inclined floor threshold profile looks like the alphabet “Z”.

3.    Trimming floor threshold profile is used in the connection from wooden floor to wall where skirting can not used. The trimming floor threshold profile looks like the alphabet “L”.
