What is Industrial Aluminum Profile?

Industrial Aluminum Profile, alias: Industrial Aluminum Extrusion Introduction, Industrial Aluminum Alloy Profiles, is an aluminum alloy material, aluminum rod through the hot melt, extruded to obtain different cross-section of aluminum material, but the proportion of the alloy added different, the mechanical properties and application fields of the industrial aluminum profiles are also different. Execute the standard by gb/t5237.1-2004. Generally speaking, the industrial aluminum section refers to all aluminum profiles except the building doors and windows, curtain walls, indoor and outdoor decoration and the structure of aluminum.

Characteristics of Industrial Aluminum Profile:

1. Corrosion resistance

The density of industrial aluminum profiles is only 2.7g/cm3, about 1/3 of the density of steel, copper or brass (respectively, 7.83g/cm3,8.93g/cm3). In most environmental conditions, aluminum can show excellent corrosion resistance, including in air, water (or brine), petroleum chemistry, and many chemical systems.

2. Conductivity

Industrial aluminum profiles are often chosen because of their excellent electrical conductivity. On the basis of equal weight, the conductivity of aluminum is nearly twice times that of copper.

3. Thermal conductivity

The thermal conductivity of aluminum alloys is about the $number of copper, which is beneficial to the manufacture of heat exchangers, evaporators, heating appliances, cooking utensils, and the cylinder head and radiator of the car.

4. Non-ferromagnetic

Aluminum is ferromagnetic, which is an important feature of the electrical and electronic industries. Industrial aluminum profiles are not spontaneous, which is important for applications involving handling or contact with flammable and explosive materials.

5. Machinability

The machinability of industrial aluminum profile is excellent. In all kinds of deformed aluminum alloy and cast aluminum alloy, as well as in the various states after the output of these alloys, the machining characteristics vary considerably, which requires special machine tools or techniques.

6. Formability

Specific tensile strength, yield strength, ductility and the corresponding processing hardening rate dictate the variation of allowable deformation.

7 Recyclable

Aluminum has a very high recovery, the characteristics of recycled aluminum and raw aluminum almost no difference.
