Step One: Turning Your Idea Into a Production-Ready Drawing
Not every client comes to us with a standard CAD engineering drawing in hand. That's perfectly fine.
At Xingtaomei Aluminum, the way we communicate requirements is very flexible. You can give us "input" in any form:
A standard drawing, with cross-section dimensions clearly marked-we can go straight into a feasibility assessment.
A hand-drawn cross-section sketch, with a few key dimensions noted beside it-just take a photo and send it over. We can understand it.
A video of the application scenario, accompanied by a written description-"I want to embed a light channel on this curved wall, the curvature is roughly like this, and the light needs to shine downwards"-we can reverse-engineer the profile cross-section design based on the scenario.
Even just a sample piece, an offcut from another project-mail it to us, and we can scan the cross-section and restore its dimensions.
At this stage, our role is to translate your "idea" into the "language of manufacturing." Step Two: Whether the Cross-Section Passes Muster-The Trial Mold and Sample Will Decide
Once the drawing is confirmed, we move into mold making and sampling.
After the mold is fabricated, we will first conduct a trial extrusion. The first sample piece that comes out undergoes rigorous inspection-does the cross-section dimension fully match the drawing? Is the surface free of scratches or die lines? Does the PC cover snap in tightly and come off smoothly?
After the sample passes our own internal inspection, it is sent to you. Your hands-on testing at this stage is very important. Try inserting the LED strip-does it slide in smoothly? Snap on the PC cover-is it secure? Install it in the actual scenario and observe-is the light emission angle correct? Does the color harmonize with the surrounding environment?
If anything is not satisfactory, we will continue to adjust until the sample fully meets your expectations. We will not proceed to mass production before you have confirmed the sample. This principle avoids the awkward situation of "discovering problems only after the bulk goods arrive."
Step Three: Surface Treatment-Making the Light Channel "Disappear" Into the Space
Many designers share a common aspiration for custom LED aluminum profiles: when the light is off, the light channel should be understated and unobtrusive, blending into the surrounding materials; when the light is on, the illumination itself should be the star.
This places very high demands on the surface treatment.

You want the light channel to match the color of the adjacent wood veneer? Send us a sample of the wood veneer, and we will precisely match the color through wood-grain transfer. When the light is off, the channel simply looks like a wood-grain decorative line.
You want the light channel to blend perfectly with a white ceiling? A skin-feel white spray coating provides a color and texture that can withstand close scrutiny.
You want to install a light channel on dark cabinetry but don't want it to stand out? A matte black titanium anodized finish offers understated, high-quality texture.
Because the surface treatment is completed in our own factory, quality control is a closed loop. The color of every batch is checked against a retained master sample, ensuring there is no variation from batch to batch. This is something that is very difficult to achieve with outsourced processing.
Step Four: Deep Processing and Delivery-Ready to Use Upon Arrival
When an aluminum profile comes off the extrusion line, it's still a 6-meter-long blank. Turning it into a part that can be directly used in your project involves further processing steps.

Fixed-length cutting: Cut into segments according to your required lengths, so you don't have to do any further cutting when you receive them.
Hole machining: Mounting holes, cable exit holes, screw counterbores, all precisely machined according to the positions and dimensions on your drawing.
End finishing: Deburring and chamfering, so it feels smooth in the hand and fits tightly and flush upon installation.
You are not buying a pile of semi-finished products to take back; you receive a set of finished components that can go directly onto an assembly line or be installed directly onto the wall.
